Matthew Hayes

Matthew Hayes graduated with a degree in photojournalism from the University of Montana in 2004. The majority of his work has focused on documenting rural life and culture within the Rocky Mountain regions of Idaho and Montana. He has executed assignments and commissions for a variety of editorial, commercial and private clientele.

 

His photography has been showcased in multiple galleries and venues including the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, Arthouse at the Jones Center in Austin, Texas, and Sun Valley Center for the Arts in Ketchum, Idaho. Numerous organizations have also recognized his work including the Magenta Foundation, Eddie Adams Workshop, Foto Forum Santa Fe, National Press Photographers Association and the Gordon Parks International Photography Contest.

 

He is based in Montana, and is available for assignment or commission.
